Mother Nature and Curvilinear Shapes
It’s not nice to fool Mother Nature! In this class, Mother Nature will teach you a thing or two about curvilinear shapes. So get back to nature and art with this fun session. All of the art supplies are provided by Happen… and nature!
Old MacDonald Had a Farm Right in Happen!
Meet Old MacDonald and watch out for pigs, chickens, and cows as he teaches all about geometric shapes. Barns are raising with creativity in this fun and educational session that will keep everyone straight about geometric shapes.
Meet Miss Muffet
Happen’s Little Miss Muffet has never seen spiders like this! Make your own eight-legged spiders into a scary shape and get caught in a web of creativity. If you like fun that will make you jump off your tuffet (just like Miss Muffet), then don’t miss this special session.
Flower Power
Happen’s wacky florist needs help fulfilling all of her orders! You’ll get to make your very own flowers and arrange the shapes into custom bouquets. Learn all about shapes from nature, and who knows? Maybe you’ll even get to take a bouquet home for that special someone!
The Shadow Knows
Meet a close friend to Happen and to you. It’s your shadow! The sun is always shining bright at Happen, which means it’s a perfect time to learn all about shapes and shadows—and why life would not be the same without them. Play Happen’s shadow game and create your very own shadow surprise.
Seeing Is Believing with Found Objects
Happen’s pirate is back to look for treasures as he turns everyday objects into a surprise that will have you spelling your name in the most creative ways. Participants go on a scavenger hunt for treasures with Happen’s Polaroid cameras. Be sure not to leave a letter out. You just might have to walk the plank!
Monster Mash-up
Things are going crazy as Happen’s scientist, Dr. Happenstein, needs help with his latest monster creation. Make your own paper monster with paper toy shapes supplied by Happen, and meet Dr. Happenstein’s latest project.
